At Soggy Bottom Boys Outfitters, we’re all about embracing the great outdoors and seeking the thrill that comes with every adventure. Whether you’re chasing deer through the woods, duck hunting along the water’s edge, or calling in that elusive turkey, we’re here to provide you with the experience you’ve been looking for.
Our Story
For generations, we have lived in the swamplands at the confluence of the Ohio and Mississippi River deltas. Chasing ducks and geese in the backwaters of this region dates back to the early 1900s in our family. To put it simply, hunting the mallard duck is in “our blood!!!” Over the years, thanks to conservation efforts and restoration programs, the deer and turkey habitat has transformed our region into a wildlife utopia. Our efforts to do our part have only maximized the quantity and quality of wildlife we offer to hunt. As ole Alex Rutledge would say, “The proof is in the pudding!!”

I believe what sets us apart is the diversity in the habitat we provide for hunting. Our whitetail and turkey hunting farms range from rolling hills and large agricultural fields to CRP and WRP easements, hardwoods, cottonwood bottoms, and our waterfowl farms, which are located in the Bermuda Triangle of three major refuges on the Mississippi Flyway. We are very blessed to have what we have, where we have it.

We are an "out of the mud" operation, and with blood, sweat, and tears, we have built this operation from a pipe dream to a reality. We literally drew it up on a napkin in a coffee shop a decade ago! We are thankful for all of our friends, family, and clientele who have invested in our dream over the years.
